parking:

Parking is possible at Rudolfshof (only little parking space) and in the city of Baden. 10 -15 minutes walking distance to meeting place.

mode:

The Bier OL is a team competition. Each team consists of two people. All teams start at the same time and have to run 4 different orienteering courses. After each leg the team passes the finish area, where there is a refreshment control with beer. After finishing drinking beer the team is allowed to continue to the next leg. The team with the fastest time, passing all control points in the given order and drinking all glasses of beer is the winner.

4 km course with 3x 0,3 l beer per person, for people who like to get started with orienteering.

Profi:
7 km course with 3x 0,3 l beer per person, for experienced orienteers.

Wertungen:

Separate classes for women-, men- and mixed-teams in all categories.

entry fee:

10 € per person

entry fee has to be paid at competion center on 19th May.

late entry:

Late entry is possible on August 20^th until 2.15 pm at the finish area (only limited places). Starting fee for late entries: 12 € per person.

start:

3.00 pm. Massstart for all categories.

Electronic Timekeeping with Sport-Ident (SI). You need one SI-Chip per team. Rental chips 2€ (20 € Deposit).

prices:

The three fastest teams of each class recieve prizes. If there are less than five teams per class, Womenteams are counted in Mixedclass and Mixedteams are counted in Menclass.

catering:

Barbecue and drinks are available at the finish area. The restaurant „Rudolfshof“ and a „Heuriger Freisinger“ (Wine and food) are opened within 3 minutes walking distance.

after party:

Chill Out with DJ Nufam, Drinks and Barbecue

The competiton takes place at all weather conditions. Every participant starts at his/her own risk. The organizers of the competition can not be made liable for any damage of any kind, not even to a third person. For questions and additional information mail to organisation@bier-ol.at.
